This portal, created through a collaboration between the University of Udine and Associazione Friuli Storia, aims to promote public access to information on the defensive structures built on the Italian eastern border with the exclusive purpose of giving visibility, with general and historical information, to these structures. Access to these structures is managed directly by individual associations of the area, whose members remain the sole and only persons responsible for the management of the structures, public access to them and their safety. The University of Udine and Associazione Friuli Storia decline all responsibility in this regard. Consultation of the portal is free of charge and accessible to anyone interested. Users may use the information and documents on the portal exclusively for personal study and research purposes. Any other use must be authorised in advance.
